Project: Destroying Fallacies

Why?

Because it is essential and urgent to differentiate the arguments of those who aspire to be right, from those who only want others to prove them right.

Despite the name**“destroying fallacies”**, we are encouraged by a constructive spirit and the conviction that in the reality that embraces us and eludes us, lies the authentic bond between human beings, because it is the real world that our minds share. -

We think that conflicts arise in reality, but moving away from reality is that they become unsolvable, and that is why what brings us closer to reality unites us and what separates us from reality separates us… reality is our natural place of meeting.

We therefore believe that destroying fallacies constitutes a moral choice, a small contribution to the fact that, as Karl Popper wanted, erroneous theories die instead of people. -

” Do you want to know what’s wrong with the world? All of the disasters that have devastated the world stemmed from the leaders’ attempt to ignore the fact that A is A.

All the secret evil that scares you to face inside, and all the pain you’ve had to endure, come from your own attempt to ignore the fact that A is A. The purpose of those who taught you to ignore it was to make you forget that Man is Man. ” Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

What for?

To discourage the use and abuse of rhetorical illusionism in arguments and speeches and to spread knowledge of pseudorational smokescreens

How?

Building a window for the public in which texts and discourses can be impartially and objectively broken down, analyzed and exposed.

To avoid any tendency for this or that position beyond or beyond the most honest realism, we propose as the only scalpel the identification of those constructions recognized by all as fallacies. - Then the contents themselves will not be under scrutiny, but rather the structural validity of the arguments. -
